The scope of this policy

  1. This policy applies in addition to our general privacy policy when tutors express an interest in working with us through the following routes:
    1. Contacting us via email to contact@idealtutors.co.uk.
    2. Contacting us via telephone.
    3. Submitting a form on our website, including general enquiries and the “become a tutor” form.
  2. In the course of Ideal Tutors contracting the service of a tutor an additional contract will be formed.
  3. The above data collection and retention rules as per the general privacy policy applies.
  4. The above rights to access, correct, erase and restrict as per the general privacy policy applies.
  5. Tutor profiles

  6. We use tutor profiles on our website to assist tutors gaining work. Any tutor applying to work with us agrees to provide the following data:
    1. Personal information: name, e-mail address, telephone number.
    2. A professional headshot photograph.
    3. Qualifications obtained, degrees awarded and the respective qualifying institutions.
    4. Experience as an educator.
    5. Written statement.
  7. Tutors providing the above information consent to the creation of a tutor profile from such information, with appropriate and reasonable modification by Ideal Tutors where necessary.
  8. The tutor profiles will be used throughout this Website and therefore publicly available.
  9. Marketing of profiles

  10. To promote and facilitate income to tutors we reserve the right to use tutor profiles for marketing in the following areas:
    1. This Website.
    2. Other websites.
    3. Email communications.
    4. Printed publications.
  11. We reserve the right to use tutor profiles in advertising in the public domain.
  12. Consent to use profiles for marketing can be withdrawn at any stage by emailing contact@idealtutors.co.uk.

CLIENT SPECIFIC

The general privacy policy applies to clients, tutees, students and parents (Clients) up until the first session with a tutor represented by Ideal Tutors, including purchase of services through the website or otherwise.

At the point of the first session with a tutor represented by Ideal Tutors a separate and additional contract applies, which serves as an agreement between Clients and Ideal Tutors. This contract will have been facilitated by Ideal Tutors prior to arrangements for the first session.
